The midfielder was acquired by Inter Miami in a trade with Vancouver Whitecaps FC in September 2019.

The 6-foot-2 central midfielder made one first-team appearance with Vancouver in the 2018 Canadian Championship and has represented his country at the U-15 and U-17 levels, and most recently represented Canada’s U-23 side that featured in the Toulon Tournament.

Norman joined Vancouver in 2007 at the age of nine as a member of the WFC Prospects program. He climbed through the youth development ranks signing an MLS Homegrown contract in 2017, following his first professional season as a member of Whitecaps FC 2 where he was named Player of the Year for leading the team in assists, chances created and duels.

He is also the son of David Norman, a former Whitecaps FC player who played on Canada’s FIFA World Cup team in 1986.
