Which Luis Robles double save was better?
Luis Robles is no stranger to coming up with key stops, and his incredible double save in the New York Red Bulls' victory on Sunday served as the latest reminder.
One question remains, though: Was it even his best double save ever?
Robles may have pulled off an unbelievable piece of goalkeeping in New York's 2-0 road win over the Portland Timbers, but he also had a similar play last year in a 4-1 triumph against the Seattle Sounders.
Whereas Robles dropped jaws by denying a swerving Diego Valeri free kick before just getting enough of a point-blank rebound attempt from Nat Bochers this weekend, the Red Bulls 'keeper stunned observers everywhere and won the 2014 MLS Save of the Year award by blocking Marco Pappa's deflected shot from distance and swatting away the ensuing close-range header from Clint Dempsey.
