Dan Gargan and Juninho celebrate a goal for the LA Galaxy

LA Galaxy defender Dan Gargan is a trained artist, studying the trade at the prestigious Chestnut Hill Academy and Georgetown University.

He’s designed long board skateboards that were auctioned off for charity, and he also did the match poster for the LA Galaxy’s upcoming Western Conference showdown with the Seattle Sounders on Sunday (4 pm ET; ESPN), entitled Singin’ in the Rain, featuring newly signed Designated Player Giovani Dos Santos.

All of the proceeds from poster sales will go to the LA Galaxy Foundation. All commemorative match posters for the 2015 season will be available for purchase at http://www.lagalaxy.com/posters.

LAGalaxy.com also did an inside look into what inspires Gargan the artist. It’s a, well let’s just say a not-so serious look into the mind of the Galaxy defender, along with his muse, Alan Gordon. It’s not something you’ll likely be able to get out of mind for quite some time, for better or worse.
