The White House definitely falls into the category of destinations you don't mind visiting more than once. Especially if you make the trip to be honored as champions.


The LA Galaxy, MLS Cup champions for the third time in four years, were honored at the White House on Monday afternoon, joined by the 2014 Stanley Cup champions LA Kings as part of the president's traditional salute to the community service efforts of the championship teams in the nation's major professional sports leagues.


The Galaxy and Kings are both owned by the Anschutz Entertainment Group, and they made the same trip together in March 2013 after both won their respective leagues in 2012.



In addition to the presidential audience, the Galaxy plan to remain in Washington, D.C. for some business. They are scheduled to scrimmage Georgetown University on Tuesday:
