The second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League final between the Montreal Impact and Club América promises to be a momentous occasion, with Montreal needing just a win or a scoreless draw at Olympic Stadium to become the first MLS team to win the regional competition.

Now, the Impact will have an entrance to match the significance of the affair, with the club announcing on Saturday that it will provide colored cardboard for a full-stadium Bleu-Blanc-Noir mosaic display on Wednesday night.

A piece of blue, white or black cardboard will be affixed to every seat in the bowl at the sold-out Big O on Wednesday, with Montreal supporters – all 59,000 of them – set to hold up the cards to welcome the Impact to the field before the match. The mosaic will be the biggest ever unveiled at a sporting event in Quebec and will be accompanied by a No. 12 tifo and displays from Montreal’s supporters’ groups.

Several MLS clubs have pulled off full-stadium card displays in the past, including Real Salt Lake – coincidentally, the only other MLS team to make the CCL final – in their 2014 home opener
