The referee assignments for the Montreal Impact’s CONCACAF Scotiabank Champions League matchup April 7 against Alajuelense have been revealed.

Evergol.com reported Wednesday that CONCACAF Salvadoran referee Joel Aguilar will oversee the second leg of the CCL semifinal matchup at Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Aguilar has been appointed to officiate in World Cup qualifiers, including the famed SnowClasico game between the USMNT and Costa Rica in a World Cup qualifier in 2013, as well as a number of youth World Cup tournaments and Gold Cups. Fellow El Salvadorans Juan Zumba and William Torres will be Aguilar’s assistants, while Elmer Bonilla, also of El Salvador, has been named the fourth umpire.

Montreal lead the series 2-0 after a first-leg home victory March 18.
